Glad to find this webpage. My father, Jim Lombard, passed away in 2007, however, I am carrying on the boating tradition.

Came across an old Hatteras Christmas Card, I thought you would appreciate. It's a caricature of Willis on the front, the inside message read, "Captain Baggy of the Hatteras fleet, whose fiberglass boats are so very neat, with eight true men he made the mold and named it after the Cape so bold. Wishes you a Merry Christmas...and, so does all the crew at Hatteras." Guess daddy was sending these out and kept one for himself. My father was J.L. Bull, Jr.

Dear Martha, I was so sorry to hear about John’s passing. I found out late last night from Larry Sexton. He got a call from Leon Joiner and he got a call From Polly. I will not be able to attend the funeral as much as I want too but I just don’t feel up to the trip. I am sure glad I got to talk to John week before Last when I called. I will always remember John as a man with unwavering convictions A man of sterling character and you always knew where you Stood with him. I could not have loved him more than my own brother. I consider it an honor to have worked with him and to call him my friend. Martha I wish I could be there and share your grief but circumstance’s will not permit it. Please give may best to the family, Leon

Congratulations on a wonderful Hatteras Reunion 2012! This was my first, but it was wonderful to see many people that I briefly knew during the late 1960s. Thanks to dear friends Charles Tedder and Todd Somers for letting me know that such a reunion existed; I was honored to visit with these friends from forty-two years ago! It was great to visit with Walt Frazier, Ed Baldwin, Pat Gallman, Carrol Britt, Leon Joyner, CL Everheart and many others. I missed seeing several people, but hopefully I'll get to see them next year. --Tom Tyson

This website is great, thank you Marc Smith or whomever established it. So sorry I missed the High Point Reunion this year. I was in town, but 'things' came up at the last minute. We would like to invite all of you to New Bern on November 13th, 2010. It is our second reunion and last year was great. This year promises to be bigger and better (if that is possible). If you haven't gotten your invitation go to Hatterasemployeesreunion@live.com we'll get back to you promptly.

The High Point reunion was fantastic. I saw many friends from the past and made a few new ones. Sam Everhart had everyone on the floor after telling the Walmart joke that included his Dad, CL Everhart. Hope to see everyone next year.
